Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 202000330 Rel 41081

My wife's work laptop is not recognizing my new mesh network. Could it be her employer is still running Windows 7 on her machine? If not, any other thoughts as to why our network name is not coming up on that device? We have 20+ other devices that have picked up the new network name enabling a join. Thanks

@Given2Fly

Likely the issue is the wireless card drivers are too old. You need to update them, and then you will see the AX network. The OS being Windows 7 is not the issue.

@Tony driver is the latest and greatest. When I disconnected the x20 network and spun up my Verizon Gb router it recognized the network right away. I forgot to mention my PS4 operates at double the speed from the Verizon router 50 feet away than the Deco that is 7 feet away. Not impressed so far with deco.

No, what is the model of the wireless card the laptop uses, not the browser version?

Click on the bottom left windows icon, in search type and search for: ncpa.cl

After you see your network connections, the model of the card will be below the connection icon in grey text.
