Deco M9 Slow itnernet activity
since a while, all devices connected to the Deco units, have difficulties getting through to the internet. A lot of internet sessions get a 'this site can't be reached' and it takes several refreshes to receive the webpage info. This behavious is independant of the Deco being connected to (one out of 3). Internet speed test are ok from the app and ok from a pc connected tot the Decos (provided you get tot he speedtest page, same issue as above). Any ideas? (no changes to the setup (setup in mesh mode, 2 units wired, 1 wireless))

If the issue stems around getting to web pages, I would try different DNS servers. Connect to the Deco Wi-Fi, then go to the Advanced menu, select IPv4, and configure the new DNS servers there.
You could search for various ones for your region.

@Tony Hi Tony. Thx for the reply. I unfortunatley don't have such an option in the adbaced wifi settings (I'm in access point mode)

In that case, the main router controls the DNS server to go to.
Do you notice the same thing happening when you are connected to your main router? Maybe use a wired connection to make sure you are not on the mesh network.

@Tony thx agazin Tony. No that's the point. when I connect directly to the router, I don't experience any problems. only when connecting through the decos

Go into the Deco app and turn off all three aspects fo the antivirus, and also disable Fast Roaming

@Fisleeuw one way or antoher I do not ghave those options in the app besides fast romaing. is this related to the fact I'm using the decos as access points?

You are right, you mentioned that in the third post which I did not catch. I apologize for that.
AP mode does get rid of HomeCare.
Would it be possible to have the Deco run in router mode, and have the main Deco take the place of the main router? If the Deco is in AP mode then it should just send any request to the router, but I wonder if there is some incompatibility?
