Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.14

I have an Archer A7 set in access mode and want to disable WPS.  When I go to manage the device there is no option for "System Parameters" and no where to disable WEP on the A7 in access mode.  You are only able to disable WPS in router mode.  Does anyone know how to work around this flaw to disable WPS in access mode?

If you go to router mode, disable the PIN, and make sure the wizard is set to button push, then switch to AP Mode, you are still able to connect to the A7 with the PIN?

 

Make sure the PIN is not the same as the wireless password of the 2.4G or 5G network. The default wireless network password for the A7 is 8 digits which is also referred to as the wireless password/PIN.
