Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 build 20190810 rel. 50990

Hi...

I have 100 mbps through my isp. I have to reboot the router constantly to get this. Typically before reboot 25-30 mbps and after reboot 90-103  mbps. I have a TC-7620 DOCSIS 3.0 Modem.

Any ideas?

Thanks !!

@Bluesrx

Please download and install the latest firmware for your router here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-a7/#Firmware

The link is for the US region router.

Here is how you would update the firmware: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2139/

@Bluesrx

How are you testing the speed?

First it should be via a WIRED connection, not wireless.

Secondly, most ISP's have speed test sites. Ones on their network are more reliable as they exclude external delays from the Internet itself. However, a site like SPEEDTEST.NET usually is reliable.
