Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

About to throw these things out into the forest. I have a one month old 3 unit X60 system.  Home unit is wired directly (cat6) to modem (which itself is fine).  Two satellite units.  The slave units keep losing their connection to the home unit.  Most of the time they have two, maybe three bars of connectivity to the home unit but then poof, every 2-7 days they just drop out.  Light stays green but wifi devices won't connect (unless they can reach the signal from the home unit) and the Tp-link app shows those decos are offline.
Been thru two aggravatingly slow tech chats and am now awaiting an Email from a "senior engineer".
Tried:

- moving devices closer (prob no more than 75 feet now which is ridiculous for a system marketed to cover 7000 sq ft?)

- factory resets on all 3 devices

- checking for firmware upgrades

- like I said, two tech chats, useless

Any solutions welcomed.

@CabinJ

Try this firmware, download it, extract it and upload the .bin file over the web browser: link

Here is a FAQ to show you how to update it (Method 2): https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1599/
