Model: Archer A9
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200416 rel.72485(5553)

Just set up my router as an access point and just have one question. I want to turn the LEDs off since the AP is in a bedroom. I found the instructions in the user guide but when I log into http://tplinkwifi.net I don't see the Advanced option to do it. Here are the instructions from the user guide:

The router‘s LEDs indicate router’s activities and status. You can turn on or turn off the LEDs either from the web management page or by pressing the LED button.

1. Visit http://tplinkwifi.net, and log in with your TP-Link ID or the password you set for the router.

2. Go to Advanced > System Tools > System Parameters.
3. In the LED Control section, toggle to turn on / off the LED.

I'm also not seeing an LED button on the router so hopefully the instructions aren't outdated. Thanks in advance!

@JoshK

Ya, it does not look like there is a LED button.

Have you tried setting the router back to router mode, switch off the LED then switch back to AP Mode?

@Tony, I haven't tried that but since I need it to be in AP mode it wouldn't matter if it works in router mode. The lights aren't that bright so it hasn't been an issue at night. I do think TP-Link should update the user guide to clarify that this option isn't available in AP mode, though.
