TP-Link AX3000 Router and wifi card, gig internet. 10ish feet away i cannot get over 200Mbps on wifi

hello all, title states my issue. i cannot get over 200Mbps on wifi and should definitly be able too with the TPLink products i have bought. When plugged into the router i get 980+ speeds. Anyone have any fixes i am all ears.
AX3000 router and pci Wifi card - gig internet. 10 feet or less away.
ryzen 3700x
32 rb ram
Everything is up to date with the latest drivers.

I got the same issue...? I just got the same router. I replaced my basic cable router thats given by the cable company and it was giving me 400 plus mbps, now I thought I would be doing better with the TP link AX 3000 but it doesn't get over 200 mbps? I might have to return it. I got it bc of the wifi Ax 6 thinking I would get all of those extra benefits...
Does anyone know why? Am I doing something wrong? not settting up the 160 mhz? Mumo? etc? setting up 5G to its optimum channel ? IDK

im talking to chat support now and they told me to check this - Can you please check the link speed of the computer with the wireless adapter .Here's how to check the link speed : https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2265/ im in the same boat as you, everything is saying i should have 1gbps but i struggle to get 200. PLugged in im at 990+

i have de same issue, i try to unnistall tether app and disable the priority devices or application but nothing help, my connection is about 250Mbps over wifi or ethernet cable, i dont understand why this router is so Slow.

@DetJ The AX3000 AX mode is known to be broken, but TP-Link won't fix it or issue refunds.
