I want to use my own Pc as a Server for the KASA cameras.. is that a feature that can ultimately be built in? like a IP stream to be picked up by surveillance servers such as Blue Iris

At this time no.  The cameras can only communicate with the Kasa Cloud servers.  What you can look for is our cameras with model numbers that end in a "5"  Like the HS105 or HS115. These models have a SD-card slot which allows local storage instead of cloud.
