Deco M5. Does wall mounting affect performance?

I just ordered a 3 pack of the Deco M5s. On 2 of them, it's going to be better for me if I wall mount them. My question is... does that affect the range in any way? Like as in... does that change the radiation pattern of the internal antennas? Or are they omni directional?

They are omnidirectional so you should be fine with them sideways. You could use a Wi-Fi analyzer on your smartphone to see if there really is much of a difference in signal strength.
