Model: Deco M5  
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.4.7 Build 2020057 Rel. 63377

My Jio router shows at least above 90mbps when a speed test on Ooka. But whenever I switch to my M5 router it only shows 15-60 mbps, sometimes 70. And when the speedtest on the app is done, it shows the same results as the Jio router. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

@TheNight 

 

Reposition the Deco nodes is the first thing to try, they may be too far apart. You could turn off all the satellite units just to make sure the main unit has good speed.

@TheNight I tried repositioning the routers and that has helped a bunch, thanks! But my ping on games usually fluctuates heavily compared to just connecting to the Jio router much farther away then the mesh router in my room. Any tips?

@TheNight 

 

You may need to look at setting up the Deco network in an Ethernet backhaul if you want faster response also try wiring directly to one of the Deco nodes.

@TheNight Unfortunately none of those are an option, do you know of anything else I can do?
