I am trying to connect 2 computers via ethernet in the same room as my main deco, which is connected via ethernet to the modem. I am trying to use an ethernet switch, and I can't get it to work.

If I hook up the switch to the modem, and then connect the deco to the switch, the deco doesn't get service or work, but the ethernet to the computers do work. If is hook the deco up to the modem, then hook the switch up to the deco, the deco works but the ethernet going to the computers does not work.

Is it possible to hook up a deco like this? Is there something I'm missing?
