Model: Archer C20
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 200526

My 3 months old tplink Archer c20 v US router goes extremely hot when working I think almost 50-55 degree celcius . When my room temparature is 30 degree celsius .

Is this temparature is alright for my router ?

It is always hot like under load when there is no connected device . Why it always hot ?

I saw in tplink website its operationg temp is around 40 degree celsius . What causes my router so hot and how can I solve it

@Abid_Hasan

The operating temperature is what the environment should be, not what the router will be operating at.

If you feel the router is too hot, I would recommend contacting out support team.

@Abid_Hasan Can you tell me if 50 to 55 degree celsius cause my router speed drops or lower lifespan or connection unstability ?

@Abid_Hasan

That does not sound high, other commercial routers run about that too. As long as the router is not placed in a enclosed area then it should be fine.
