Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200716 rel.84595(5553)

Unable to connect to any wireless device (e.g Printer, Laptop) within my Home Network. I believe the issue started after updating the Firmware to the most recent version a couple of days ago, but not sure. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Hernan

This is so frustrating, half of my network devices are Wireless (10+) and unable to use them :(. I already try disabling secure access and it did not work. Can I downgrade the firmware version?

Thanks,

@HDLosada

If you are running 200716 then you are not able to.

I would try either changing the network name and password or forgetting the existing network (laptop) and reconnecting.

If none work, do a complete factory reset by holding the rest for 15 seconds, leave the router in default settings, and connect to that network.

I was able to connect to wifi devices with the previous version. Is there a way I can downgrade the firmware version? Is there going to be a fix for it in future upgrades, or I do need to return the router?. After the factory reset, it will run on 200216?

Hi there. I'm facing the same situation after upgrading to the latest firmware. This is what I found out:

  • Unable to ping other devices that is connected wirelessly
  • Able to only ping devices that are connected directly through one of the LAN ports on the router
    • Had my laptop connected via LAN and I can ping my network printer

I somewhat temporarily managed to resolve this by turning on SmartConnect. But this means I have lost the flexibility to manually determine which device should be connected to either the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz band.

Anyone has a resolution for this?

Thanks.

@HDLosada

Seems similar to my issue. found the fix on another thread and it fixed my problem with the Printers and TVs for screen mirroring as well as my Surround sound systems.

Eventhough many ppl said this started with latest update Build 20200716 rel.84595(5553), I think this option should be disabled by default and not enabled.

I found turning off WMF fixed the issue. The WiFi adapters on these old devices probably can't handle it.
