Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 855rev1_us-up-ver1-0-0-P1[20171206-rel63905]

Is the TL-WA855RE Version 1 Extender with the last "beta" firmware update safe to use? When I see "beta" listed in the firmware description, I often have doubts.

ANy comments?

If you bought it with a Beta firmware then you bought a used product. While there is no issues using the beta firmware we would suggest installing the latest firmware located here:

@Carl thanks. I flashed it with the beta firmware from the rplink website. Labeled beta.
