Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9

Currently I have Verizon FIOS with an old Actiontec router.  I am upgrading to 1Gig speed which will require a replacement of the Actiontec.  I purchased the AX50/AX3000 router as a replacement for when the speed is upgraded instead of paying Verizon.  If anyone has used this model to replace their previous Fios router, are there any settings required to use the AX3000 as my home's one router connected to the Fios ONT?

Thanks!

When you connect your router to the ONT box, the router should automatically grab an IP address. If not (amber internet light), log into the TP-Link router, go to Advanced > Network > Internet, click on "Renew".

Thanks. My current Actiontec router has the IP address 192.168.1.1 on my home network. 1) Will the AX3000 be addressable by 192.168.1.1 or, if not, can I set it to this address? 2) Can I replicate the static connections on the AX50 to mimic what I had with the Actiontec for the home network?

For the LAN network side, you can have the same LAN you had before and also the same network wireless name and wireless password. By default the router goes to 192.168.0.1 so you may need to log into the router, go to Advanced > Network > LAN, and change the IP to 192.168.1.1
