Parental Controls access seem to be off an hour.

Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.14

I've just enabled the parental controls on my router.  I've set up a profile with bed time limits between 9PM and 8AM for school nights, but it doesn't seem to open up until 9AM in the morning.  I'm not sure if it cuts the evening time short.  Kids have not yet complained about that.  I've checked the time settings of the router and it has the correct local time.  It's set to update from the internet automatically and currently shows that daylight savings time is on.  Everything seems right.  Any thoughts?

Noticed my FW was not up to date.  Went ahead and updated to 1.0.15 Build 20200721 rel.40773.

@Witchboard

With the latest firmware did that resolve the time issue?

If not, does switching to manual seem to work?

@Tony

Hello Tony.  The firmware update did not resolve the issue.  I've also confirmed the their time is extended an hour beyond what I'm trying to set, so it seems somewhere the time ss an hour ahead.  I'm sorry, but can you be more specific on what you mean by switching it to manual?  Oh, you probably mean the NTP settings.  I can do that and check tonight and in the morning to see if there's any difference.  Thanks!

My apologies, yes, I was originally referring to switching the set time from "Get automatically..." to "Manually".

Yup, that fixed it.  Any idea of why it would only happen if set to automatic?  I'm using 12 hour clock.  I wonder if it would be different if I switched it to 24 hour.

Auto should work the same as well. I haven't tested it, but you may have found an issue. I'll forward that to our support team where they can verify and work on fixing it if found.

Just to confirm, when you set the router to Auto, what were your NTP servers?

@Tony I ran across this thread while looking for an issue with my Archer A7 v5.0 with firmware 1.1.2 Build 20210125 rel.39623(5553). My time setting is set to auto and Daylight Saving Time set to auto and the time controls I have set up in parental controls are also off by one hour. I see your last reply saying this is a new problem and was wondering if there is a fix/update in the near future?
