@thebalconyfool Ditto!  I have been dealing with this for several months.

I'm using the suggested settings (WPA2-PSK/AES) and I STILL see the weak wifi message.  Are there any plans to roll out a firmware with WPA3?

I know I seen it somewhere tonight, but now I can not find it. Apple is also looking for a password of 12 to 14 in length , can't remember which. Can someone confirm that?

I figured out the cause here.  I have a few Tp-Link wifi extenders around the house which are in access point mode all using the same SSID. They were still using weak security in some cases so I changed their settings and that solved it.  So if you have any extenders or access points in your network setup check them too.

@Tony

received "weak security" message on Apple devices. Logged into router and switched to WPA/WPA2-Personal, version WPA2-PSK, encryption AES.

i am now receiving a "privacy warning" message. Apple devices connect to router but no internet.

how to solve this???
