S4 and ATT&T

Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.4.3

I'm trying to install my S$ with an ATT&T modem/router 5268AC and a VAP2500 ATT%T wifi gateway.  ATT&T is of no help( of course).  Should I attach the S4 as a access point or a router?  I as an access point to I leave the ATT&T wifi on or turn off?  If access point can I have more than one S# (total 3) attached via cable to the ATT&T modem/router?

@Arbitro95 Turn off the Wifi on the AT&T modem and set up DECO as the router.
