I had a C8 AC1750 for several years that was dead silent, until it went dead. The C4000 makes this repeating low buzzing sound that lasts 4-5 seconds, ~6 seconds between, that reminds me of a monster breathing in the deep in a horror movie. What's up with this?
I haven't heard noticeable sounds from our routers from routers like the AX6000 or A7. I think it may be coming from the coil which is found with other routers as well. I have heard that from powerline adapters.
I would follow up with support just to make sure.
Thanks. I contacted them. Strangely, since leaning the unit on its side to see the serial number, then replacing it, the noise has disappeared.
