Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.6 build 20201013 rel. 58271

The current firmware only have WPA2-PSK[AES] + WPA-PSK [TKIP] as the nearest possible connection for legacy device. I have the printer that uses WPA-PSK [AES], the older TP-Link C7 AC1750 can use both AES/TKIP interchangeably instead of this new deco that doesn't let you have more choices.

Basically the wifi doesn't work as router uses WPA-PSK [TKIP] encryption while printer can only read WPA-PSK [AES] encryption.

Right now I am using the older router alongside the new router but that defeated the purpose of having one single network.

I like that it's easy to use but I also see the company just release another hardware update for x20, why? I don't want to get another router to just tinkering around. The new firmware should add more encryption option and separate network for 2.4ghz and 5ghz and also different banding channel.

@Tony My printer model is Epson Artisan 725, here the picture, you can see the security encryption it used.

Thank you for the picture. I am thinking wiring to one of the Deco nodes may be the only way, but I'm looking into if there is still a wireless solution available with the Deco network.
