Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Im trying to search through my system logs to see if i can spot when the admin account was logged into. I believe my son is logging in and changing the parental settings.

I tried to search for admin and login, but im getting no results. Does a login actually show in the logs? if so, what does it show up as?

Is there a way to download the logs?

Thanks in Advance!

Chris

@Cheezehead

You will need to log in with a web browser in order to get to the system logs and go to the system menu, where the logs are shown there. If the login events are shown it might be there.

Here is how you would log into the Deco via the web browser: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2641/

I think the easiest approach would be to change your TP-Link ID password to something else complex. Changing the password for your TP-Link ID does not affect devices connected to the network. Here is an article about changing your password by going through the process as if you forgot it: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1442/

@Cheezehead , did you find a solution to this?  I'm having the same issue.
