Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have just installed a new Deco M9 Plus Mesh system at home.

On installation, we have downloaded the latest firmware as at 9th January 2021 - i dont know the version number.

I have been able to get everything working on it except my SALUS IT500 heating controllers.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get this connected?

@andrewwb1

You need to go into the Deco app and do port forwarding that will open the ports it needs to work.

Here is a guide on how to do that: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1797/

You will create a port forwarding rule for port 80 and another for port 2165. The internal IP will be the IP of the controller, the internal and external ports will be the same port number.

For example:

@andrewwb1

The Salus IT500 controller installation manual suggests that the controller needs access to port 80 and 2165 UDP open on the router.

I dont have a clue what that means!
