I recently separated from my husband and registered a new Alexa to a new account, however I added a new Kasa plug to my new house using the same account for the old plug at my ex's house. I noticed that when I synced everything, his device was added to my new Alexa app (it's also showing on my Kasa app). Can I turn my own lights on and off without affecting his lights (they have different names)? I don't want to mess with his plug and vice versa.

I would remove your new plug from the existing Kasa account (ex's), then create a new Kasa account, then add your plug to that account. Then relink the TP-Link skill using your new Kasa account. Now you will have your own devices, and he will still have his with no interference.
