AX20 Router 2.4G wifi dropping connections

I just recently purchased the router to upgrade a less featured unit. and in the last 24 hours it has dropped all 2.4G wifi connections several times.
All devices connected via 2.4G wifi get disconnected. Any connection attempts fail, without an error, just zero connectivity.
RF signal is a constant -40dBm at all times, so the radio is functional during these drops. All other connectivity functions normally.
I can log on to the router and turn the 2.4G wifi off, then on and all connectivity is restored. I have rebooted the router, no difference.
I am running the router currently in AP mode.
If the unit cannot do 2.4G Wifi reliably, I will likely be returning the unit. Looking quite a few others having similar issues, with no clear solution.

As extra details, the System Log feature doesn't work, when I got to save locally, all it saves is this:

The router has been up and running now for a couple days!!
The router just did a full reset, on its own here just about one minute (8:48PM) prior to pulling the logs!
So problems are:
1. Unstable 2.4G Wifi, intermittent connection failures drops all 2.4G connectivity, but doesn't stop the RF.
2. Unreliable logging functions.
All usage to date has been in AP mode.
