Am hooked up to spectrum. As soon as I dropped their router lost the 2G  signial

@rdj9212 Check your WIFI settings because 2G can be turned off independently of 5G also check security settings. If you enabled WPA3 only your devices may not be compatible. Try using WPA3 + WPA2 . Also make sure you are not in AP mode and reboot the router.

The Deco will also recommend a band for the device to connect to so it may just be getting 5G recommended.

 

If you want to force a band, you can enable the guest network, and disable 5G so only the 2.4G is available.
