Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Latest

Hi all:

 I have 2 C6 routers configured as access points. I only use 5Ghz band since 2.4 is crowded. So, with the latests firmware upgrades, i see a hidden 2.4 Ghz network active on my 2 C6 with hidden SSID. I don't know if i can access those hidden 2.4 Ghz with the data configured on my routers. And to tell the truth, i've never used those routers on 2.4 Ghz. Would kindly take a look on this issue? Also it would be nice to disable one mesh option activated by default and this for now cannot be disabled.

 Thanks!

@Pinho

 Installing the beta firmware available here, the "mesh" 2.4 GHz was vanished since i could disable that function. As i don't use 2.4 so it's completely nonsense have an active hidden network on that frequency spreading more noise to that band. I really hope you guys from TP-LINK launch an stable firmware soon as the beta now. For me it's working flawlessly and nothing bad to relate. That's the solution for those seeking to disable that useless "mesh".

This is not a bug, the Archer C6 has OneMesh capabilities so the hidden network is meant for other OneMesh devices only.

I don't want to be disrespectful but your reply seens so. How come a wifi router with 2.4 Ghz function DISABLED can activate a network on that frequency and this behavior cannot be considered a bug? There's no such thing.
