Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I went to the tp link website and entered my IP address. It then wants you to enter user name and password, but my browser shows it as insecured site. So not sure I wanted to enter that info. My AC1750 C7 ver. 2 router is about 4 years old, does this unit update by itself ? How do I access the interface and check ? thanks for any help.

@Lizzrd

Here is what you should see when trying to log in:

When you are at the router's login site it will make a mention of the site not being secure as the connection is via http and not https. When accessing the router login you are doing so from the local network and not through the internet so you should be fine.

The V2 does not have an auto-update feature so you would check the firmware page for any new releases: link
