I have an Archer AX6000 Router with two RE315 Mesh Extenders.  When displayed using Tether, one extender is listed as a Cloud Device while the other RE315 is displayed as a Local Device.  Is this an issue?  Also my AX6000 also displays as a cloud device.  What is the difference between a cloud device and local device?

@tlh523

Devices listed as a cloud device means there is a TP-Link ID registered for it. The local device likely means there is not a TP-Link ID registered. If you log into the RE315 listed as local

If you are logged into the Tether app with your TP-Link cloud ID, the app should prompt to bind the device to your cloud account. Method 2 on this FAQ shows what should show up: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1366/
