Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a  black verizon router with coax on the back for TV and phone messages,   I want to replace the verizon router but do not want to lose the tv menus.   Is there a way to keep the verizon router just for the coax cable and tv  use  and disable all other functions on it.  I want the ER605 to be my primary router.

There might be, but it all depends on the needs of that TV service.  In some instances i have seen it require the Verizon device to continue to do routing.  If they say yes then you should just be able to bridge the modem and they will be able to give you the steps for that.  From there its a simple process of configuring the WAN on the TP-Link router to be your router.
