Ring 2 wireless doorbell and AX50 wont connect
Hi all
Having a nightmare trying to get a ring doorbell to connect to a archer ax50, was previously working on a asus nu56
tried so far-
- channel width setting's
- channel numbers
- port forwarding
- security settings
- wifi modes
- other routers set as access points
- 3 different extenders
- security firewall off
- guest point
something on this router will just not let the ring 2 connect and i am totally fed up now and thinking of returning the router and buying a different brand

Fixed it.
Got the Ring mac address from the Ring app.
Found the IP on TP Link browser admin matching to the mac address.
Bound them together to stop changes in future.
Added port forwards in Nat Forwarding/ Virtual servers using the ip I found and bound to the Ring.

It still wont connect through a TPLink Extender but does connect direct to the AX50 2.4 wireless network.
This has taken the best part of a day with lots of hair pulling and ring camera bashing so I hope it helps someone in future!
