USB drive is set up and shows on my netwwork when I sign in to My-share. Problem I am having is trying to add files or folders (MacOS). I get a dialog box, Modifying My-share requires an administrator name and password, to move XXX folder, click authenticate. There is no way to do this. How can I get access to my drive.

  @Pierre007

Did you find a solution to this?  I'm having the same problem from OSX Catalina: I can mount the drive (though not from command line), but I can't write to the USB drive on the router *after the first usage*!!!  I've got files on there now that I can read, but I can't write to the drive.  Ditto coming from Linux.

Anyone have ideas as to the cause and/or solution?
