I currently have an Archer C8 with three switches installed in different rooms for TV's Rokus, Xbox etc. I want to upgrade to a S4 Deco times three. If my understanding is correct I should be able to remove the C8 which is outdated with one of the S4's then hook up the first switch to it's second jack. Then hook up the cables going to the other switches to the  S4's for the back haul and connect the second jacks on the S4's to the switches?

Thanks,

Bruce

  @Stealthnv1

Single Ethernet cables from the switch to both Sattelite S4 Decos is all that is necessary for both connectivity and backhaul.

Dual Ethernet connections on the Sattelites would be redundant and possibly cause some signal looping issues.

So  ...  Modem -> Primary Deco -> SwitchPort#1(or Uplink port) ... Switch ports -> both Sattelite Decos.

  @Stealthnv1

Thanks for responding. Just to clarify, I should only hook up the first S4 to the first switch via the second port to feed my network.

Thanks again,

Bruce
