Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20220721 rel.61848(5553)

Has anyone noticed very reduced download and especially upload speeds after the latest firmware update on the AX11000?

I have gig service with Frontier and routinely would get 800+ mb up and down before I updated the firmware in August.  After the firmware update I am getting much lower speeds both down and expecially up as seen in the attached screenshots.  The service does not appear to be the issue as when I plug the Frontier Router in I am getting around 900 up/down to it as seen in the screen shot.  If there are settings I need to change I'd love to know what those are as the only change I made was the firmware update to 1.3.1 Build 20220721 rel.61848(5553)

Is there a way to downgrade to the previous firmware version to restore my speeds?  TIA.

FYI, QOS is set to 1gig up/down:

Have you tried turning QoS off?  THe QoS profile may still be limitting the speed test BW.  The only thing the BW setting does is let the QoS service know what your max speed is before it applies BW limits as defined by the profiles.  It would appear that the profiles apply percentages of BW allocation based on the selections.  So, if a profile only allocates 25% to certain types of traffic on a 1Gbps connection, 250 Mbps would be max for that type of traffic.

Thank you for the reply. I have tried it with QOS turned off as well but there is no change.

@Mrfreeze52

How about factory resetting the AX11000 and doing a reconfiguration from scratch, will it make a difference? I would not modify any QoS settings when reconfiguring.

Thank you for the reply.  I haven't tried that yet but that will be my next step if there are no other suggestions.

  @Mrfreeze52,

I would recommend probably attempting from scratch as there are so many factors that could affect the speeds. One thing before you do, try setting the QoS well above what you expect to get. QoS is really meant for much slower connections, but I doubt it would cause the speeds to drop that much. Another thing, double check that the duplex settings for your ethernet wiring is recognized and negotiated correctly.
