Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20220221 rel.50072(5553)

My router has not been providing the performance I expected.

I am on Spectrum's 1 Gig internet plan, but speed tests from the modem, a wired PC, and PC on wi-fi aren't even reaching 400Mbps.  Technicians have very thouroughly troubleshot the internet on their end - modem to the post - and have resolve any issues.  Wired speed directly connected to the modem is 950+Mbps.

I've read all of the troubleshooting steps, modified the QoS and HomeCare settings, and tried every Cat5, Cat5e, and Cat6 cable I own to connect the router and modem.  I even bought a new Cat8 cable and still no improvement.

What's left to do?

Did some more digging through the forums and found this reply by @BFinkelstein:

Here is the solution he posted:

The problem arises in that by default the AX11000's faulty Speedtest results are used to set the router's QoS (Quality of Service) capacity limits!

Solution: On a web browser, go into "Advanced" -> "HomeCare" -> "QoS" and manually edit the "Total Bandwidth" to your actual Internet service values.

  @Kevin-J,

QoS is proven to have the most benefit on connections with much lower speeds than what many of our users have nowadays. Another user has actually discovered that they could set the QoS above what they expect to receive from their ISP to maximize the connections. You can try this to see if this actually improves your speeds further.
