Model: Archer CR700
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: v1.1.0 Build 20170314 Rel542320

I setup my Archer CR700 in bridge mode and it works great.   However, when it gets power cycled (power has gone off in the house a couple of times), it loses the setting and reverts back to router mode.   When I set to bridge mode, I do hit save and it reboots into bridge mode.   Just seems to be when power is cycled does it revert back to router mode.   Inquiring minds would like to know what to do?

  @mdo0911,

Are you able to recreate the behavior every time the router is power cycled? Or is it a random occurrence? Does Rebooting the Device from the menu break the bridge mode functionality?

If the behavior only occurs during a power outage, the router may be behaving this way due to the rest of the network being disconnected and trying to reconfigure itself to provide a connection.

  @mdo0911 I can reproduce the problem by pulling the power cable.  Rebooting via the CR700 menu does not cause the problem, only losing power.

  @mdo0911,

Would it be possible for you to create a system log from the WebUI of your modem? The logs may indicate why the configuration was lost, such as having to recover from a critical error. I also just posted a beta firmware for routers that are experiencing a similar behavior, I would imagine that this means that fixes will be released after the beta firmware for these devices is finalized.
