Model: TL-WR802N
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

We have a few WR802N units that we use to connect machines to our WLAN.

The WR802N is connected to SSID "WLAN-A" with the network 10.10.10.0/24.

WLAN-A has a DHCP server providing clients connected to it to obtain an IP in this range.

What we are trying to do:

Connect WR802N wirelessly to WLAN-A (This part works and obtains an IP)

Connect a client to the ethernet port - should also obtain an IP from WLAN-A DHCP server (This does not work)

Instead what is happening, is the WR802N is providing DHCP leases to all ethernet clients from the default 192.168.0.0/24 range, even though it is configured as "Smart DHCP"

This is the case for both WISP and Client mode.

What am I missing? Someone else has managed to do this but I am unable to get it working: https kb DOT egauge DOT net/books/other-hardware-documentation/page/tp-link-powered-usb-wifi-bridge-setup-%28tl-wr802n%29
