Does one of the two W2400 Extenders have to be connected to the Ethernet port on the Modem.
For all Deco models one of the units, the first one you configure is configured as the main unit. This main unit, regardless if the system is set up as a router or AP, needs to be connected to the source of your internet service. Wether that source is a modem or a Gateway will determine the most preferred mode for the system.
