How to secure my tp extender to my secured network. It appears in my Wi-Fi settings, but it says it's unsecured. How can I secure it?

Have you already gone through the process of configuring your range extender to extend your network? If not, this is the SSID broadcast by the extender so that you may connect and configure the device. How to Configure Your Range Extender with the Tether App

There are a few other ways to configure depending on your RE model, such as using WPS.

Be aware that the default SSID does not have a connection into your main network, and does not have a connection to the internet, so a TP-Link ID should be set up before connecting to the extenders default network name
