I have wireless Arlo Security Cameras which will only run on 2.4 ghz I read in this community that you can't split the 2.4 and 5ghz so my son created a Guest Wifi through the Deco App for the cameras , very easy and is working great.

  @Nottechy,

Glad to hear you got it working. Just for your information, when the 2.4 and 5 are combined into one network, devices SHOULD be able to manually change between the networks depending on their needs, it is just that some devices do not like the combined SSID and give users trouble or will not stay connected to the network.

 

Were you having issues configuring your devices to the main network before moving them to the Guest Network?
