As the title says, TL-WR710N v1 got bricked because I messed up, simple as that. Meant to upgrade DD-WRT and I stupidly used an Openwrt firmware. Now it's bricked, green light comes on. Tried the TFTP 192.168.0.66 method, no luck.

  @ferris209-,

As far as I am aware, the firmware recovery process for travel routers is no different than the instructions found here: How to Use Firmware Recovery on a TP-Link Router

Are you able to start the process and see a webpage for the firmware?

There are a few older models that do not support the recovery process, so if you follow the instructions and everything fails, I would recommend reaching out to our official support channels for information on next steps.

  @Riley_S

Thanks! Took me a while and several efforts at it, but I brought it back to life with the instructions you referred me to. Thanks!
