Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2

According to Internet Connection Monitor, my internet has dropped 15 times today, although only for a few seconds each time.  My Deco log reports pages of entries which I cannot interpret, for example:

My Arris cable modem for my XFINITY connection does not seem to report problems in its event log at the same times as the DECO:

I would appreciate help in interpreting what might be causing these problems.  Even if the internet is only down for a few seconds at a time, that is enough to kick me out of my company VPN, which takes at least five minutes to get back in.  I have already taken all the steps on the Fix Unstable Connections webpage.

  @GDAlex, So it looks like the 802.11k standard is in relation to Device Roaming - meaning that either a device, or if those MAC addresses are your nodes, are having trouble roaming between nodes, or is having trouble maintaining the mesh network's connection. Do you know if the behavior exists across the entire network, or only devices that are connected to satellites?

I would recommend disconnecting your satellite nodes, or moving them much closer to determine if the behavior is a result of the mesh, or a result of the main node's behavior.

I would try and check to see if you can observe the same internet drops while only being able to connect to the main deco node.

Otherwise, I would take a look at some of the options on your network associated with roaming signals, such as Fast Roaming or Mesh Networking. If you are able to isolate the behavior to specific clients, I would highly recommend disabling the mesh networking for the device, as this will prevent the Deco from moving the device around.

  @Riley_S

Thank you.  I have a base + 2 nodes.  Both of the remotes report "strong" connections to the base and are only about 20 feet away from the base (although there are intervening walls; 1 is brick, the other drywall).

I will try to figure out which devices are represented by those two MAC addresses in the excerpt (they are not the nodes).  I will switch off "mesh" and "beamforming" for them once I have identified them.

I tried to attach the whole system log to this note but it would not upload.
