Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

I want to move all my IoT devices from my main 2.4 network to the new IoT 2.4 network.

My main 2.4 SSID is "Home24" can I just change the new IoT 2.4 SSID to "Home24" and my main to "Home24a"?

Would they all connect to "Home24"?

Thanks, niabil

  @niabil

It should not be a problem as long as the SSID and password are the same. I did the same thing with the only difference being that I had the IoT SSID on the guest network instead of the main network. All devices connected without any problems after the change.

  @niabil

Thanks, jra11500, I made the change to the IoT2.4 SSID to "Home24" and change to main 2.4 to "Home2", all my devices connected seamlessly.

Question - if I disable the main 2.4  Network will the IoT2.4 still work, they seem to mimic each other on the wifi analyser.

If you disable the main network, it will also disable the IoT and guest networks.
