Model: Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2

I have a new TP-Link/Archer BE800 router. I’m trying to enter LAN static IP addresses for several Ethernet connected devices (PCs, printers). The static IP address for each of these devices must to be in the range 192.168.1.11 to 192.168.1.91.

The default “IP Address Pool” setting in the router is 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.253. When I try to change the upper end of the range to 192.168.1.253 I get this error message: The IP address pool and LAN IP address should be in the same subnet.

How can I change the IP Address Pool settings so that it includes the range 192.168.1.11 to 192.168.1.91? The Pool range can go lower and/or higher if necessary but it must include that range. I can’t seem to find a range that is accepted on the settings screen.

Thanks.

Hi,

By default, the router LAN IP is 192.168.0.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0, so its DHCP address pool can only be 192.168.0.x, if you would like to use 192.168.1.x as the address pool, please change the router LAN IP to 192.168.1.1 first on Advanced->Network->LAN page:
