Do you own a Kasa dimmer switch with a motion sensor, like the ES20M or KS200M?
Is the switch installed inside the washroom? We might need more details to assist with the problem you're reporting, such as product model, software and hardware version information, installation location, screenshots of relevant settings in the APP, etc.

Re: "Is the switch installed inside the washroom?" Yes, visually within 6' of the toilet. The light goes out in a minute while I'm sitting on the toilet unless I wave at least one hand; however, both are sometimes preoccupied. :)

This product is a motion sensor switch, and its standout feature is the ability to automatically turn off the lights when no movement is detected, thereby conserving energy.
If you do not require the motion sensor functionality and wish to use it solely as a smart switch, you can navigate to the product Settings page ->Motion Sensor to deactivate the motion sensor.
If you'd like to extend the duration for which the lights remain on after no movement is detected, you can access the smart control settings to make adjustments.
