Is it wise to have an HS103/105 activated all the time and just click it off and on once in a while to reboot a camera?
This is actually a great use if you are finding that your camera needs to be rebooted periodically, and it does not have a feature to automatically reboot the device.
If you are concerned about the strain on the plug, you do not need to worry - especially with such a low-power device. The only strain that is really placed on the device, is when the device is changing states. You could easily create a smart action to reboot the camera at specific intervals.
