Just purchased a AX5400 Pro version 1, FW version 1.0.2 build 20221129 rel. 31896.  I have been setting it up while connected to a laptop via a LAN port. WAN is not connected. Due to various static IP addresses on my network, I converted the default IP from 192.168.0.1 to 1.1. I go in and set all the settings, entering my static assignments. Everything works fine until my last few steps. When I go to change the WAN port from 2.5 to 1.0 the router initially accepts it. Then it asks me to assign the subnet for 191.168.1.1. I assign 255.255.255.0. I get a red warning saying you cannot use this subnet. Then the router locks up and becomes a brick until I do a hard reset. If I leave it on 2.5 no issues but I don't have a 2.5 connection. My connection is capped at 1. My questions are, any ideas why the router is locking up when I try to assign the 1.0 as the WAN port? Can I just use the 2.5 port even though my service is just 1.0?

Whoever comes across this, the issue was the 2.5Gbps does not share the same physical port with the 1.0. It uses one of the traditional LAN ports as a WAN. If you have the computer connected to the shared port it locks up the router.
