Internet provided by Spectrum fibre optic cable, 300 mbps data plan.   My old router worked fine but did not cover the home and left weak areas.   Just installed AXE5400 mesh wifi 6, 2 pack.   operation mode is Wi-Fi Router on the main unit in the basement with a second unit upstairs.   sitting in front of the main unit in the basement I get about 230mbps.   Upstairs 3 feet away from the second unit I get 38mbps.  While at 15 feet away I get 9mbps.   The signal strength shows full scale.  Was really hoping to get better speeds.

Am I doing something wrong?   Should I be in AP mode?   What about bridge mode, although I cannot find it on the app?
