I would like to control smart devices with my Alexa, can this be done thru the EAP610? My devices and Alex are connect to my router.
Alexa is a cloud service that will control your devices through the internet connection. As long as your Access Point is providing an active internet connection, the Alexa service should have no problem seeing and controlling the connected devices.
If your devices support(or you are looking for) local control of your devices, you will need to make sure that the Alexa and Smart Device can see each other on the network. There are settings that may isolate your AP traffic from other devices, but your device can still be controlled via its internet connection.
