Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I've had some new internet so had to reset the Deco units after a few problems.

I've also changed my unmanaged switch from a generic one so a TP Link one.

When I look at the tp-link deco app, I used to be able to see everything connected to the switch as individual items.

Since swapping the switch, it now just shows the switch and that's it.

Both switched are just plug and play - I plugged my stuff into them and the stuff got Internet (deco is connected to port 1 of the switch).

It's not a huge issue but why has this now changed?

@DukeCaboom It may be a defect with the firmware.  Did you try restarting/rebooting the Deco router?

@jzchen It's the same firmware as it was before?

The only change in the setup is the switch.

@DukeCaboom Well I guess the way to make sense of all this is, if you have the old switch handy do the exact same steps but put the old switch back.  Then see if the device list populates as it should.  Be sure to note exactly your process then try it with the TP-Link switch. Then at least you can narrow down the culprit.
