Locked out of my Deco router during a recent internet outage because I couldn't log into tp-link.com
I'm hoping this is a bug and not a feature.
Call me old fashioned, but a wireless router's main job is to support my LAN. And my LAN still functions during an internet outage. I should not be denied access to hardware on my local network, because I cannot log into a remote site.
What added value does this authentication actually provide me? What operations in the Deco app require requests to TP-Link servers?
